***3-20-2012*** Version 2.8 Released which resolves New iPad (3) photo bug
***Rules to live by with the Apple Applications on iPhone, iPad or iPods***
- Do not delete your app. If you do, you will lose all your credits and patient data. You can ONLY get this data and credits back if you have a back up to iTunes or iCloud that proceeds the date you deleted the application
- Do not change your iTunes Store accounts on the device after buying the application
- Do not sync your device to more then 1 computer
- If you back up and sync your device to iTunes on a computer, you should do this everyday as a secure method of backup
- If you back up to iCloud, please be sure your device is PLUGGED IN, on a WiFi singal, as well as device needs to be on the lock screen in order to back up to iCloud. Be sure to follow the Apple best practices
- Remember if you delete your app or if something goes wrong with your device or you lose it, we do NOT have a copy of your data, nor can we issue credits - this is controlled completely by Apple.
- If our app, or any app freezes and becomes unresponsive, please do not delete the app, rather Force Quit the app using this method
*** I have 2 devices, do I need to re-purchase everything?***
No, you only pay again for the credits. Please note that screening credits are classified by Apple as Replenishable In-App Purchases. Thus they are items that have to be purchased seperately on EACH device and cannot be downloaded again for free like the individual upgrade modules (movies, editing report module, comparason module, etc). They must be downloaded to each device seperately, regardless if sharing the same iTunes account information. For more information on this topic, please visit the Apple Support site. The modules and videos on the other hand, can be downloaded again for FREE without any charge.
***BACK UP*** PostureScreen Mobile app uses the iTunes backup via syncing your devices. So your app data is COMPLETELY backed up if you sync and backup your device to your computer which is linked to your iTunes account. Further, you can also choose to use iCloud to automatically back up your data. Should your device be lost, you can easily restore your data to a new device. PostureScreen Mobile’s in-app purchases available through the ‘upgrades’ menu on the application are performed by iTunes – we do not have any record of what you purchase nor can we back up your data.
Please note however, if you install on another device that is linked to another iTunes account - these are not transferrable, nor are the credits. Further, if you have credits on one device (say an iphone) and then download our app on the iPad under the same account, the credits and data can NOT be transferred. There is no method for syncing the database between devices.
If you have to re-download application itself or the in app purchases (modules), you will not be charged for the modules again. However, the ‘credits for screenings’ in app purchases are device specific, and you will be charged each time you download credit packages. Please see Apple’s site, http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4009
Please note, If you delete the application, all of your data WILL BE LOST unless you have backed up your device through iTunes or iCloud (you would have to restore your device from prior backup). Further, screening credits for Postural Examinations are NOT transferrable between devices under the same iTunes account. You can restore a back up from iTunes or iCloud to the same account if on the same type of device.
